this cool tool to find out where your visitors are coming from around the world. Choose from our variety of map
styles that will blend right into your profile graphics.
Our maps track visitors at city level. They use threshold values to color code profile hits at each city. By color coding
the hits, the geographical concentration of your visitors is revealed at a glance. Our maps also include more detailed
data on them. Here are main highlights:
Profile views: See how many hits your profile has received so far.
Visitors marked: See how many unique visitors have visited your profile.
Current online: This will show you number of people currently visiting your profile.
Blue dots: A blue mark on the map indicates visitors from that city.
Yellow dots: A yellow mark on the map indicates cities with more visitors.
Red dots: A red mark on the map indicates top cities with most visitors.
Your World Visitor map is also fully integrated with
Google maps. Use the google map to drill into marked locations
or flip to satelite view.
Additionally, a tablular report provides actual number of hits for each city. This table will quickly show you the
geographical demography of your visitors.
Your map is also equipped with an optional security mechanism called "Restrict to this URL prefix". This parameter
will cause the map to collect statistics only from that URL. Make sure you use a full URL path such as: http://www.mydomain.com". Note: Leave this field empty if not used.
Wait there is more! The most awsome feature of our World Visitor map is available to our
registered users. This
feature provides the ability to change your map color and style without loosing your map's existing data. Did you
change your profile layout and the map you had in there does not blend in with the new layout? No problem. Simply
log into your account, change your map color and style and you are good to go! Does not get any simpler than that.
Registered users will also have the ability to manage their maps from the "Edit my maps" page.
Make sure that you
are logged in before creating your map.
Another added bonus is that if you are logged into your account, your own hits are not counted by the map.
